It is not often that you have a World Class competitor participate in daily judo classes at White Dragon. Adnan Gutic, former member of our club and World Sight Impaired judo competitor, was our special guest instructor for our kids classes on March 29-30. He showed some basic Judo techniques that our young judokas could understand and practice. Adnan will be competing in the World Sight Impaired Judo Championships in Istanbel, Turkey in April. We wish Adnan the best in this tournament.

World Champion competitor visits White Dragon Judo Club
Liberty Bell Classic 2011
Anna Feyina continues to impress her peers as she prepares for this years U.S. Nationals in Orlando, Florida. The Russian native faced stiff competition but came through in the clutch earning herself a bronze medal.
Gregg Humphries visits White Dragon
Recently Sensei Gregg Humphries was our special guest instructor on March 22, 2011. The grappling guru displayed a variety of special techniques to help everyones Judo. Mr. Humphries plans to return to White Dragon Judo Club in the summer so stay tuned to the website for details.
Midwestern Championships 2011
Anna Feyina fought her way to a gold medal in this tournament. Gene Hamilton upset a skilled black belt and placed 5th in his division.
Tennessee State Championships 2011
White Dragon Judo Club represented well at this tournament. Coach by Tom Kuhne, Ian Kuhne placed 4th, Anthony placed 3rd. In the Seniors bracket, Anna Feygina earned the gold medal in her division. Masters division, Derick Wellman captured the bronze medal and Tara Kuhne took silver. Tracy Hangley did an excellent job as a referee for this tournament.
